Dr. Amy O’Callaghan grew up in New Canaan, CT. She obtained her BS in Biology at Virginia Tech where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She returned to Connecticut to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Connecticut. Dr. O’Callaghan went on to complete her post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. She is board certified in pediatric dentistry, holding a Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. O’Callaghan is committed to organized dentistry and community involvement. She serves on the board of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists and is President of the Shoreline Dental Society. Dr. O’Callaghan was voted by her peers as one of Connecticut’s Top Pediatric Dentists for Connecticut Magazine every year since 2014.
Dr. Amy currently resides in Guilford with her husband, two children, and one fur baby. When she isn’t at the office, you can find her running, baking, and dancing in the kitchen with her children.
Dr. Amy’s goal is for every child to have a positive and fun experience at the dentist.
