Arrive 15 minutes early and check in with our reception team.
When you arrive for your child's first visit, please bring, or be prepared to complete and sign the required insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your child's dental care. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will help us get to know your child. We will also provide information to help you get acquainted with our office.
The Dentist will discuss oral hygiene and oral care.
After one of our pediatric dentists for children has completed their initial examination of your child’s overall oral hygiene, we will work with you to create an effective dental care plan for your child. Developing good dental hygiene practices is important at all stages of your child’s life, and we can help you and your child take care of their teeth. We will show them the proper way to brush their teeth and floss, making each step in their dental plan as fun and exciting as possible.
Our team will gently examine your child's teeth and gums.
In most cases, we will also clean and polish your child's teeth during this visit and provide an evaluation that will outline any existing dental concerns, problems and proposed treatment. Of course, we look forward to discussing any questions or concerns you may have about your child's oral health.
We will develop a preventive care plan designed for your child's needs.
With our comprehensive services, our goal is to help keep your child’s teeth health at every age. Our dentists work with every patient to create the best preventative care plan for their unique stage of development. For our younger patients, we emphasize the development of good dental hygiene routines and positive experiences in our office. For our teenage patients, our goal is to teach your child how to care for their new permanent teeth with daily brushing and regular dental visits.
